Speaker Johnson (R-La.) once again massacred conservatives on Friday by reauthorizing an expanded version of FISA 702 spying, despite bipartisan support against it. He was the tie vote against requiring a warrant. Yet not only did Trump decline to pressure him, he gave Johnson complete cover at Mar-a-Lago. In addition, Trump held a press conference on Friday promoting Ukraine funding, bashing anti-abortion laws, opposing the motion to vacate the speakership, and promoting Obamacare. I warn that Trump is being compromised by a quest for wealthy donors and that if we don’t work to push him to the right, this dangerous leftward slide will accelerate. I also give baseline thoughts on Iran’s attack on Israel and how the Biden administration is working with Iran and even ordered the attack. Rather than focusing on foreign aid, the GOP House should have used leverage on budgets and reauthorization bills to prohibit Biden’s policies empowering Israel’s enemies.

Americans love privacy. There is bipartisan support for requiring a warrant to query any information on Americans swept up in this surveillance program. Why are Republicans allowed to squander that once again? And why aren’t conservatives pressuring Trump to drop his support for Johnson on this issue, as well as Ukraine funding? Later on, we’re joined by Rep. Warren Davidson (R-Ohio), one of the pioneers in the fight for privacy, who is trying to force a vote banning the government from purchasing our data from third-party vendors. He explains how the 702 program has proven to be abused and is much broader than people realize. We have a government that openly lets in thousands of dangerous Middle Eastern terrorists and violent Latin American gangs, and then they turn around and demand we authorize domestic spying under the guise of national security. This is anarcho-tyranny at its best.

What if I told you we already have the raw materials for a new party without having to go through the insurmountable process of getting a new party line on the ballot? Liberal Republicans are now retiring because Freedom Caucus members have made their grift feel so miserable. Andy’s only regret is that he didn’t do this earlier. The key is that the members are all principles and focused on issues, not personality and drama. You can have a big tent for various issues, but you need a core that is not tainted by foreign influence or grifting personalities. What happens when you build a mindlessly populist movement unmoored from any principles or strategic goals? Well, you get what we have today, which is elements of MAGA embracing abortion, Bruce Jenner, Log Cabin Republicans, and now even Hamas. I delve into Tucker Carlson’s complete conversion into a Hamas-promoting leftist – all to politically own one Jew he happens to dislike. We don’t have time for this nonsense. I give the Biblical analogy from Kings 12 with Jeroboam and Rehoboam on how a movement built on just rote opposition without any affirmative beliefs winds up being worse than the movement it is critiquing in the first place. Just know that we don’t need to sign on to false choices.

We always hear the conservative noise machine industry tell us that unless we vote Republican every other November, we will be stuck with socialism. Well, I’ve got news for you: We already have permanent socialism, and merely focusing on the topline ballot of the general election will not fix that. The only way to end the venture socialism from which we already suffer is for states to begin adopting gold and silver currency. Today, I offer a broad presentation of economic and labor data proving that we now face a permanent recession in the job market as consumer prices, credit, and debt skyrocket to record levels. These problems are much greater than the ability of any one general election — even with good Republican candidates — to solve. We need to stop with the distractions and begin fighting as if our lives are on the line ... because they actually are.

The solar eclipse will only last a few minutes, but the mooning we have incurred from Trump’s political eclipse has distracted us for eight years. I address Trump’s ridiculous comments on abortion today and demonstrate how they are emblematic of a broader problem in that he doesn’t believe or understand a lot of our values. Therefore, at the first sight of political trouble, he tosses the issue overboard. It would sure help if Trump would at least parlay his retreat on abortion into a fight for bodily autonomy against the biomedical security state. But alas, because of his mooning on the vaccine issue, no amount of information that comes out about the deadly shots is moving the needle on the policy front. I detail some of the new studies on the shots showing a shocking percentage of people suffered cardiac damage and that the damage is long-lasting.
