Where Dreams are Born
Loved, loved, loved it!
Slow start. Great finish.
I almost gave up on this book. Was thisclose to doing so. The slow development and constant mentions of which designer Cassidy wore grated on me. I simply didn’t care. I didn’t need to be told eighteen times that she had a Michael Khors parka. I didn’t care.
But then, the designers stuff eased. We got to know the characters. I began to appreciate the slow build of their relationship. I was glad I stuck it out as I really grew to care about them and feel invested in their story.
The surface levelness of the beginning belies the depth of the latter portions. Definitely worth continuing.
Loved it!
I enjoyed this book so much, my only cavil is that it ended too soon.
The connecting theme with letters & lighthouses during a calendar year was wonderful, as were all the descriptions of sailing, sail boats, and the islands of the Pacific Northwest, enjoyable characters. Honestly, I didn’t want this book to end.
Please Mr. Buchman, more books including sailing!
