The author discussed various kinds of addictions from the commonality of alcohol and drug addictions to food, work, sex, romance, gambling and Internet addictions. He also describes the characterics of addictions and how to deal with them. The final chapter highlights ways Christians can provide competent care for others who are subject to addictions, as well as for those already addicted.
