ARC for honest review with no compensation
This book can be read as a stand alone but reading the other books in this series will make it much more fun to catch up with the other characters too.
Chaz and Payton became step siblings when their parents met and married years ago....but their has always been a special connection between the two. Even though they went their separate ways they always kept in touch....each thinking that the other was just "family".
Payton comes home for the holidays and Chaz can see she is in some kind of trouble (which he thinks is her middle name) but he doesn't know anything about her life after she left....but he knows that he will do anything to protect her. What he doesn't know is that Payton is undercover for the DEA and is needing to say on the down low until the people that she worked for are behind bars.
Lots of twists, turns, unexpected moments of truth and will these two find the love that has always been there or will it end in ashes????
