Unsheathed III: Forever

Tony has been shot, and Monet has been tending to his needs for the seemingly endless days while he has been unconscious. Where everyone else has lost hope that he would ever survive, or if he did, whether or not he would be normal again, she never has given up hope. She stays by his side hoping and wishing for any sign that he’s going to recover. Everyone tells her to prepare for the worst. She refuses to listen to them, because she knows in her heart that her vigilance is repaid when she is there as he wakes up.
