Publisher Description
The Normal Christian Life is Watchman Nee's great Christian classic unfolding the path of faith and presenting the eternal purposes of God in simple terms. This is a compilation of spoken addresses on such topics as the blood of Christ, Christ's cross, the Holy Spirit, the meaning and value of Romans 7, and the goal of the gospel. Nee's message will cut straight to your heart in a way that is both moving and relevant. "It will speak as from the Spirit of God himself, with challenging power."-- Angus I. Kinnear, London 1961 About the Author: Watchman Nee became a Christian in mainland China in 1920 at the age of seventeen and began writing in the same year. Throughout the nearly thirty years of his ministry, Watchman Nee was clearly manifested as a unique gift from the Lord to His Body for His move in this age. In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith; he remained in prison until his death in 1972. His words remain an abundant source of spiritual revelation and supply to Christians throughout the world.

Mere Christianity, Volume 2
Though not intentional (especially since this content precedes the content of Mere Christianity) Nee’s A Normal Christian Life feels like the logical followup to Lewis’ Mere Christianity.
Whereas Mere Christianity is an excellent description of the Faith to the uninitiated (and even to the familiar), purposely avoiding direct reference to Scripture and theology; A Normal Christian Life is an approachable description of the deep theology presented in the book of Romans. I wish I had read this book decades ago when I had first read Romans. It just restates what Romans declares with enough repetition and stepwise logic to make it understandable for just about anyone, in a way I would expect C.S. Lewis to have done if he had tackled the same source material.
The Normal Christian Life
What does it mean to be free in Christ? This is a book that should be read by every Christian whatever the stage of journey they are on. Beginners will need a mentor to answer their questions. People have walk with Christ most of their life will need a mentor to answer their questions.
Life changing
This book explained the whole gospel. Christ didn’t just die for our sins, He brought us freedom from the law. Freedom from the strife of trying because dead people have nothing to offer. I can’t do it justice but recommend it to every Christian who is weary of the cycle of failing, trying harder only to fail again.
