Page turner, but be prepared to be depresses
From the minute I picked it up I was hooked and had to find out how it was going to end, but overall probably the most depressing story I have ever read. Particularly being 6 months pregnant (have to read to understand why).
The Letter
Wonderful! I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with the characters and the storyline was different from anything I’ve read before. For me it was very believable, because I’ve heard stories from my English grandmother about how girls were treated in the 30’s thru the 60’s when they had babies out of wedlock. The writing was great and I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading period pieces and love sometimes gone wrong.
