Be intentional by investing the time of reading “The Ideal Team Player” by Patrick Lencioni, to get yourself off of the bench and back in the game!
This book brings back into perspective for us, the forest that we’ve been unable to see because of all of the trees.
As a team player, are you a strong one, an “ideal” one? If not, why not? The book directs your focus onto what role you play in your company. Helping you identify and address, your strengths and weaknesses, as well as those of your teammates, so you can effectively address them, in turn strengthening yourself and your team.
Great read! Applicable in all areas of life and relating. Purchased and read in one sitting.
Laughable.
This book is thinly-veiled, right wing, religious nonsense masquerading as team building “science.”
It’s poorly edited, sexist, and a repeatedly self-admittedly flawed method to assess if a person is a “good fit” (to be read as “one of the boys”) for a team.
3 million+ copies sold does not a good book equal. It just means at least 3 million people have been exposed to garbage.
It gets better towards the end
The book gets better towards the end. The example drug on a little too long for my liking but definitely some great advice within the literature.
