Federal agent Scott's knowledge of the border country of West Texas is on fine display in his outstanding debut. It took me a long time to finally get into this book....I would start reading & it seemed to drag so would put it down......read another book...go back & start reading again & still couldn’t get into it.....this went on for about 3weeks, then I tried one more time & finally it hooked me. Loved it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tangled web
Ah, small border town with a pit viper of a sheriff and a cast of damaged souls who don’t know any better...at first. How good people can be brought to the brink of disaster through a series of seemingly innocuous decisions...then courageously clawing their way out. Saddle up and buckle down for the ride!

Started ok got better and better. I think the author became more skillful as he wrote this first novel and is going to be a great writer. Good character development, not predictable, a good read. Read this book!
