Character building is fantastic
I received a copy of this book off of instafreebie but it is currently free. I really enjoyed the story of a young naïve girl, trying to escape the pressures of her life. And then a very dominate older man finds her to bring her back.
Nolan was yummy, a bit too dominate for my tastes. But then I’m not a natural submissive. So I find it hard to read stories sometimes, that portray women who are. I have to disconnect my brain, not be outraged by the barbarian behavior, and just enjoy the male dominant ride. Even though I am thinking to myself I would have nut punched him. But then I guess it wouldn’t make for a very pretty story if the damsel in distress was nut punching the hero. LOL
The start of the two part series lays out the ground work with the mystery and the buildup for Nolan’s and Lola’s relationship. This story read as a romantic suspense. The character and world building were fantastic and again Nolan is yummy....Sara

Looked might be a good book. I read a new author and often buy other books. I don’t like bait and switch techniques where you get half a book. I never get the other half when that is done. So I am rating based on a book with no ending.
Oh What A Gentleman
I’ve been looking forward to reading this series for a while. Especially this series starter. Being a blogger means you have a busy schedule so you can’t always get to things right when you want to, but I squeezed this in as soon as I could.
Lola is a young woman who is feeling the stress of her mother’s bid for presidency. She decides to throw off her Secret Service detail and take off. Nolan Jackson runs a multi-million dollar security firm, with his ex-wife as the VP, he’s also a Dominant. He gets an urgent call to come to Virginia to meet with the Governor’s campaign manager, an old marine buddy. He drives because he has an aversion to flying.
His mission: Find Lola and bring her back. He drives out to find her, and she’s in a perilous situation when he does. She tries his patience, eventually bringing out the Dom in him. He also has to protect her from the bad guys who want to kidnap her. Such an enjoyable read, and I’m totally excited to read the conclusion of this 2-part series and beyond. Sweden Reese has written a winner of a series with hot, refined, Southern dirty alphas.
