The Kindred Tales Novels are shorter books that exist in the Kindred world. As with all the wonderful Kindred books there are hot alpha warriors, excitement, danger, adventure, suspense, hot sex and a challenging road to climb for that rewarding HEA.
The overall plot summary is in the author's blurb and is a great representation of the story. This particular book deals with a woman (professor of anthropology studying different cultures) who lost her eyesight as well as her parents in a car accident when she was 16.

Molly has learned to adjust to her blindness and has organized her world quite efficiently. Resigned that romance is not in the cards for "the blind girl" Molly concentrates on her studies.She's excited about the Kindreds giving her the chance to study a new culture on a distant planet.

Braxton is a Beast Kindred , it is nice to see another one of his kind as we haven't seen Beast Kindred since the first book. Braxx was also involved in a horrific accident which has left him scarred both on the inside and out. Half his gorgeous face has been distorted and scarred. Worse the guilt he carries with him keeps him isolated from many.

There is an instant electricity between them when they touch. Molly can't seem to stop wanting to touch him. Braxx is not only drawn to her but is also relieved she can't see his physical scars.

Braxx accompanies Molly on her expedition not only to assist but also protect. Although they acknowledge to each other their feelings for each other, there are misunderstandings (cultural differences can be tricky) . In addition, Braxx's struggles keep him sabotaging the relationship, he can't get off the merry go round of "Im not good enough for her ."

Besides the awesome sci-fi sexy romantic adventure there is a lot of messages and lessons within the story. Love, acceptance, what is true beauty and how to heal from the inside out. I also had to applause Braxx's shock that earth girls with "disabilities" were not allowed to sign up for the Kindred lottery.
Another amazing Kindred storyline with new planets and worlds to explore, awesome new characters . Besides a great story there are also some important messages and lessons about love and acceptance.

What an amazing story. This is probably one that I find a little more dear to my heart. This was about two souls that were trying to find their way. Molly was one that had excepted who she was but I have to say I feel like she felt love was not for her. For who wanted a blind person, well at least in my eyes that is what Molly thought. Braxx well he was damaged in more ways then one and the pain he carried will just break you heart.

I just loved Molly. She was this sexy curvy woman. She had so many challenges in life. She was blind. I loved that we got to see some of the struggles that blind people goes through. I personally know due to having a blind friend and find myself asking her questions all the time. So many times we take things for granted and I think this book shows the little thing in life that can be a struggle for some and be taken for great by others.

Braxx is a beast Kindred. Hello, how sexy is that. Braxx was so perfect for her. Braxx knew what it was like to fell unworthy of love. Braxx also knew what it was like to have felt loss. Molly had lost her parents and her sight at the same time. Braxx had lost his brother and gained physical and emotional scares.

The goddess has plans for these two and at times you might be worried if things will work out. I love that these two are automatically attracted to each other. Braxx will do what every he needs to do to protect her. That is one thing I love about the Kindred is that they are protect of their females even before they realize that female belongs to them.

This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
