Publisher Description
Haunted by his time in Iraq, former soldier Schwartz Patton goes off the grid, retreating deep into Montana's untamed wilderness. Now, ten years into his self-imposed solitude, his brother tracks him down and asks for a favor. A woman is in danger, and she needs help...and Schwartz is the only one who can protect her.
Designer-loving city girls like Janelle Keebler don't belong in the wilderness. Unless, of course, they're witnesses to a murder by their psycho drug-trafficking ex-husbands. Still, Janelle can't help the immediate physical response she has to her sexy-as-sin protector that leaves her wanting more than she could have ever imagined. Even if he does make terrible coffee...
Every word, every touch, every kiss ignites a need Schwartz thought he'd lost forever. He can't stop the desperate attraction simmering between him and Janelle, even if he wanted to. Even if it means it could get them both killed.
Each book in the Front and Center series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

Book 4- just keeps getting better
So, I loved Schwartz and Janelle! This book was heartwarming, charming, and wrapped in a little danger. These books by Fenske just keep getting better. They read so fast and I find myself laughing out loud. Her writing has such good timing with believable characters. So glad I found this great author.
Love this author
Tawna Fenske is a great writer, I feel like I'm in the story and know the characters! A definite must read. You can read this as a stand alone but it is better if you read the whole protector series.
A funny and amazing family!!!
Schwartz Patton was hiding from everyone, for the past 10 years, at his cabin in the Montana wilderness because of something that happened in Iraq. The only one who knows how to get a hold of him is his brother Grant. Now Grant needs him. Janelle Keebler, Grant's sister-in-law, needs protection from her heroine dealing ex-husband who wants her dead. Schwartz just didn't count on her being so beautiful or having such a spirited personality.
Great story about a man that has issues from his last tour of duty in Iraq and how this woman he's protecting, slowly wedges her way into his life and heart. Schwartz is a big, gorgeous, sexy, brooding mountain man who finds it easier to seclude himself away instead of facing his problems. Amazing descriptive writing. While reading I could picture everything, Schwartz, Sherman, even the coffee pot and more. I absolutely adore the Patton family! They are funny and an amazing, stick together through anything, military family. Even his mother, Stella, is a soldier. I can't wait to read more from this fabulous author.
