Love the Claybornes!
This was a re-read for me. I read this for the first time probably about 8 years ago in paperback. It was just as enjoyable the second time. Julie Garwood is one of my all time favorite historical romance authors. I love how she writes a lot of humor into her novels and the banter between the H and h are why I've tried to read everything she has ever written.
I loved the heroine in this book. Emily was so sassy but also very intelligent. I also loved that Travis would argue with her just cause he found it amusing. You could feel the instant chemistry between the two. I think I might have to re-read all the Clayborne novels again, I liked them that much!
