Afterward, she's surprised to discover that Dr. Charles Waldridge, the British surgeon who restored her sight nine years earlier, was in the audience. The two have dinner at a nearby ocean-side restaurant, where Charles says he's come to L.A. from London on a fund-raising mission. Kendra cleverly deduces that something else is causing Charles stress, but he won't tell her what. When he later goes missing, Kendra believes foul play is involved and enlists the aid of former FBI agent Adam Lynch in her search for Charles. The danger that Kendra and Adam face increases dramatically as they get closer to the truth, as does the attraction between the two. The plot builds to a stunning conclusion.

Great book
It was a great book but this one seemed to have a lot of errors and things that threw me off. I’ve read over twenty books that Iris has written and this is the first that I’ve seen so many errors. Was it because it was written with her son? Did the printing firm mess up? Was there not a grammar check done? In the beginning, I noticed Kendra’s mothers name as “Dianne” in other Kendra Michaels books it was written as “Deanna”. Also in Chapter 5 Kendra’s vehicle magically got from Lynch’s to her home without anyone getting it. Small errors but it made reading this book harder for me than any other of their books.
Disappointed
Writing was very disappointing. Unlike other books by this author.

Save your money. Poor characters, terrible plot, slumber worthy pace. Supremely disappointed.
