Judge Willa Carson is driving home from work after a long day. It’s raining heavily and a man suddenly steps in front of her car and she is unable to stop in time. He later dies at the hospital and it was determined after the autospy that he could have already been close to death from an overdose of toxic heroin that would have killed him. The media begins to tarnish her reputation. What ensues is a tale involving a well known baseball player who is willing to kill to save his reputation and his wife’s. Another excellent read in this series!!! enjoyed immensely!!
