Moments In Time 4: A Promising Horizon

All is well in Carla’s world. Her relationship with Ken seems to be going swimmingly when, all of a sudden, Helen calls her. She wants to meet up with Carla and practically ambushes her before Carla has a chance to leave her home. The two begin to meet regularly, with Carla telling herself that it will last only until she gets married to Ken. But when Ken finds out that Carla is cheating on him with his ex-wife, he tells his new love to leave. Carla is devastated by this yet finds that she cannot do so much about it. And as Helen tries to comfort her, she realizes that nothing could replace Ken; he even appears to have left her behind completely, his number unavailable. Helen begins to realize the unwanted truth as well and soon cannot stand to look at Carla, who is basically dwindling and fading away before her very eyes….
