Great Context to the PBL v X-BL debates

There are so many acronyms in education. Within the category of PBL, whatever the “P” means to you, there are so many -based learning approaches that people promote as it best means to them. This approach is good in that the process opens much thinking and ideas. The problem is that there is much confusion about how much is different versus just rewording of the same concepts.

David Ross puts to “pen” what we all needed: A concise understanding of the differences and similarities of these various models. As one of those educators who implement and teach others how to do some of the topics shared in this book, I found Models of Inquiry Explained a valuable book that shares history, context, and valuable references.

It literally is a fast read that I could not put down until I finished it. Get this FREE book that is packed full of precious ideas. While there is a strong Project Based Influence, David Ross presents an unbiased representation of all of the models for you to choose from and feel like you found the best fits for your students and your practice. Read this book. You will be amazed!
