Luck o' the (non)Irish

Amy has never had good luck. At anything. If something can go wrong, it will. 
When she thinks things can't get worse, she finds herself caught up in the town's crime mystery. Her only saving grace is that a hot policeman, Peter, takes her under his wing to protect her. But he can't always be around, especially when she pushes him away because of all her embarrassing bad luck mishaps. 
Will she be able to protect herself when the time arises? Certainly not like a normal person!
