She did it again!!!!
OMG!!!! She does it every time!!!! Cassia Brightmore writes the most twisted, dark, scary as crap books I think I have ever read. Most dark books I read have an HEA. Not Ms. Brightmore's!!! Oh no, this woman wants to keep you on the edge of your seat & continually pull the rug right out from under you!!!
Usually I am all about the HEA, even when reading a dark romance. But I absolutely love Cassia Brightmore's books. They have so many twists & turns. I can completely count on the fact that with each new twist I am COMPLETELY surprised!!! Thank you, Cassia, for another fantastic thrill ride!!!! Better than an roller coaster!!!!

Trauma series book 1: Lincoln Hospital is a place to go when needing the best in surgeons. Dr. Cian O'Reilly is the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is a respected doctor and a professional doctor.
Story's told from the third perspective. Main characters are Dr. Cian, Dr. Reynolds, Dr. Athena Payne and Dr. Saline Adams. Four other interns on the team. The criminals that have previously escaped persecution after being released from their charges.
Dr. Cian and his team take justice in their own hands. Dr. Cian is the one to find the criminals. The hospital is the perfect place to cover up the crime. He found his criminals in New York. He craved to kill on the twenty-third of each month. Dr. Cian had pent up fury that he stored up for this day to serve justice in the form of vengeance for the deaths that he felt responsible for.
Athena Payne and Sabine are interns on Dr. Webster's team. Athena is sharp, sassy, and full of spunk. Athena started off timid and innocent and soon became confident. The other interns admired her. The doctors and nurses requested her. Athena was optimistic. Athena was observant. Athena and Dr. Cian had chemistry. Athena prided herself on becoming a doctor that families trusted and colleagues respected.
Interns were privileged to be invited in the surgery room with Dr. Cian.
Dr. Cian tried to keep his distance from Athena. He felt he needed to keep her innocence away from his darkness. Dr. Cian felt his heart was too dark for Athena. Dr. Cian had become sinister and dark allowing his alter-ego to take over.
The story had many unexpected circumstances, it was exciting and refreshing to read a story where the plot line was unexplored with endless possibilities. The graphic violence was the type you would encounter in any surgery room. The other violence brought on by the criminal or the killer was horrific. The story had layer upon layers of crime.
Cassia Brightmore has done it again
Lincoln Hospital has it ALL! I'm pretty sure I held my breath through the entire story. I wanted to punch Dr. O'Reilly more than a few times and I wanted to be in Athena's shoes for the hot sexy times. Cassia knows how to draw you in from the first page to the last and true to her style leaves you begging for more of the story. She can't write the next one fast enough for me. Definitely a twisty,sexy, dark five star read!
