Publisher Description
“This could be a very useful book for teachers and non-teachers alike. Dr. DeBono does not claim to be able to turn us all into Miltons, Davincis, and Einsteins…but his techniques provide an alternative to just sitting around waiting for the Muse to appear. The Muse never appears to most of us—hence the value of this book.”— David Cohen, Times Educational Supplement
The first practical explanation of how creativity works, this results-oriented bestseller trains listeners to move beyond a “vertical” mode of thought to tap the potential of lateral thinking
“The underlying argument of the book is that there are two kinds of thinking—vertical and lateral. Also feel ripped off.
Please make update.
Would give higher rating if photos were included.
where are the images
I echo the sentiments of the other reviews. I feel ripped off. I would've bought the printed version if I knew I was getting 80% of the book when I downloaded it. An update with images is the LEAST they can do. I think we should get a portion of the $ we paid for this book, since we only got part of the book.
Interesting but Poorly Executed eBook
Love the book, 100 pages in. Excellent thought-provoking content. "Why only one star then," you ask? The problem - and it's a fatal one - is that the text frequently references images, none of which are included in the eBook. Terrible, sloppy execution that's left me felt a bit ripped-off. Hoping for an update, will certainly revise my review if the issue is addressed.
