Made Peru come alive
I've always wanted to go see Mach Picchu and after reading this book I'm planning a trip there! The information was to the point and just what I needed to know. A great detailed guide to what I can expect when I get there in September.
Excellent photos
Very nicely laid out book about Peruvian history and culture with excellent photographs. One of the things I don't like about travel books is their general lack of photos, but this book does not disappoint. There were a good number of colorful photos which really gave me a sense of what to expect when traveling to Peru. I'm going to Peru this fall and I'm definitely more enthused after reading this book. I recommend it if you are interested in Peru especially Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu.
