Could not put this book down...
This is the first in a new series by seasoned mystery / psychological thriller novelist Malcolm Richards. PI Blake Hollow returns to her home town of Cornwall. Faced with solving a mystery related to the tragic disappearance of a childhood friend, she discovers that longstanding secrets have been brewing in her hometown for decades. Readers will be on the edge of their seats thinking and guessing how mystery unfolds as Blake gathers more information in the course of her investigation. The characters are very much 3 dimensional, with strengths, weaknesses, raw human emotion, strong opinions and conflict. The fluid prose and vivid scenes will whisk you away into a rich world of mystery and psychological tension up to the very final page. I highly recommend this book.

OMG this author just gets better with every novel, words can’t express the feelings triggered from this newest story. Unbelievable I absolutely loved this one. If you try one new author this year, make it Malcolm Richards.
Unexpected and wonderful
In this first Blake Hollow book, we get to know his world and delve into the seemingly peaceful life of Cornwell. Richards' writing style keeps you in suspense and leads you to discover how life in the countryside hides all kind of torments, impulses, and grief.
The beginning of a journey through past, a story that shows how little we know about the closer persons in our lives, and how face our own demons is a path to freedom.
I am looking forward for Hollow next chapter.
