Publisher Description

A weekend family getaway. Another dead body…

A family outing in a national forest seemed like the best kind of R&R to Kate & Meg.

Until an afternoon scavenger hunt in the woods ends the day with a dead body--and the natural beauty around them takes a decidedly sinister twist.

Worse, after interviewing witnesses, the police suspect one of them could be the prime suspect. Or the next victim.

Can they get off police radar and stay out of the killer's crosshairs in time to keep their families safe?

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT ORGANIZED FOR S'MORE DEATH

"This was one of the best books in the series. Once again, Kate gets involved in a murder mystery and it was fun to read, from finding the body to picking up clues along the way. And the camping tips at the beginning enhanced my reading pleasure. Ritter knows how to tell a story that captivates..." Dru's Book Musing

"LOVED it. The best part of any good book is spending time with the character, and Kate and Meg are two of my favorites. Their warmth, casual humor, and intelligence draw me just as they would in real life… Already can't wait for the next one!" Jeanie J., Amazon reviewer

All roads lead to F-U-N

“Keith chuckled softly and stopped her words with a kiss. When they broke, he said, “I know, Katie. You and Meg stumble into more trouble than any two women I’ve ever seen. We should have brought the cat so he could have gone with you”

Getting ready for another school year is hard enough; with 4 kids between them, Kate,Meg and their husbands decide the weekend before school starts that camping together might just get everyone prepared. Despite a night with a blowhard newsman, everyone seems to be ready to go. Even Paul, the houseguest is going in the same direction. However, when they get to the campsite and Paul goes on to his caravan, things seem to be shaping up....until...a series of unfortunate events cause the trip to be cut short and the families head back home, with plans to return for their stuff the next day.

Despite Meg’s house being wired for an alarms system, trouble seems to have followed them home. In true Wonder Woman/Batgirl style, Kate, Meg and their sidekick Robin-Hero the wonder cat manage to organize everything and save the day yet again....this time with Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chunk Choco-Chip Cookies!

I love Ritter Ames’ style, from this series to her Bodies of Art and soon another new series:” Frugal Lissa Mysteries”. All roads point in the direction of f-u-n...and you actually might learn a thing or two along the way. Highly recommended 5/5
