Quite good.

This book is great and captures the history of these americans. It is a very excellent summary and analysis of The Boys in the Boat. It's great that a detailed summary is available, so I don't have to read a long, long book.

Tried to make it work. ,

Like a movie trailer....

This summary was like a drink from the fire hose. I suppose it did what it was billed to do. Summarize. I'm sure I've missed the fun of reading and absorbing the details that must be in a book that has such positive press. Reading this was like watching a movie trailer. I feel like I robbed myself of the experience of enjoying the book. The summary did summarize the story, but not the experience of the book. No more summaries for me unless I have to...

Great read!

I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick summary or "Instaread" on The Boys in the Boat. The author does a great job of squeezing all the main points into a short book and highlighting all the important parts to give a little recap of the book as a whole.
