HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO?

All Meg has ever wanted is to get away. Away from high school. Away from her backwater town. Away from her parents who seem determined to keep her imprisoned in their dead-end lives. But one crazy evening involving a dare and forbidden railroad tracks, she goes way too far...and almost doesn't make it back.

John made a choice to stay. To enforce the rules. To serve and protect. He has nothing but contempt for what he sees as childish rebellion, and he wants to teach Meg a lesson she won't soon forget. But Meg pushes him to the limit by questioning everything he learned at the police academy. And when he pushes back, demanding to know why she won't be tied down, they will drive each other to the edge -- and over....

Going too far

What is the book about?

Meg and her boy toy Eric are double dating with a Tiffany and Brian. Well, it's not so much a double date as it is a bunch of teenagers drinking, smoking pot, and playing on train bridge. The same railroad tracks that John After has an obsession with, so of course now that is a cop he is sure to catch any one who goes near the bridge. John After makes sure that these juvenile's get the proper punishment that Meg seems especially disappointed with since she'll be missing out on her spring break at the beach.
She learns more than she may have wanted about John After but once the gates to him are open, she is quickly drawn in.

What did I think of the book?

Reckless and rebellious teenagers with a sexy cop. What's not to love? Meg is a daring blue haired girl who thinks she knows what she wants after high school. To get far far away from her parents diner, and nothing is going to stop her from getting out of town, not even some boy. This was a cute book that reminded me a lot of myself at that age. Of course Meg learns a lot about herself and where her current rebellion will eventually lead her. Jennifer Echols is an awesome author and I plan on reading much more of her books!

must read!!

the way jennifer echols formed the relationship between the two characters is amazing. both characters have huge issues they are dealing with and to watch from their first interactions to how they end up at the end of the book you would never expect such two different people meshing together. jennifer echols created a relationship in this book that i could never forget. such a great read!!

Loved this book!

I couldn't put this book down! And when I finally had to, all I could think about was what was going to happen next. Reading the last page was hard knowing the story was coming to an end): such a worth while read.
