…”saying more with her fist than she could with flustered words.”
Jayne is a boxing champion, a fighter in every sense. Ending up on a barbaric world, culturally trapped in the Middle Ages, where women are to be protected is torture for her, and she will fight her way free.
Ronen wasn’t planning to leave the claiming ceremony with a wife, but sometimes life happens and all you can do is trust in the will of the Gods… and do everything you can to defeat the enemy and defend your honor.
This done in one solid stand alone book does some really nice world building. I particularly enjoyed the Queen… I’d love to read the King and Queen’s story, as these two are each, in their own right, great leaders, which shines through in how they deal with Ronen and Jayne. A story about reacting, and instinctive responses we don’t always realize we have, this is a wonderful battle which gets truly interesting when Ronen and Jayne come to understand what they are really fighting against.

Alternate Dimensions
“Ronen was her one in a billion…”
I really liked Lilith Enraptured, book one in this series, and was very excited for book two. It’s a good book and I loved Ronen but it’s no where near as good as book one and the reason is 100% because of Jayne. I didn’t care for her much and she annoyed me most of the book. I got seriously sick of the crappy way she kept treating poor Ronen. Also, this story lacked a real plot and action outside of the conflict between the two MC. Im off to read book three now, Keeping Paige. Hoping it will be better.

Fantastic story!
I loved this second book in the Divinity Warriors series. I really enjoyed this world and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I loved the interactions between Jayne and Ronen.
Jayne grew up as an orphan and has made a career of being a fighter. When she is knocked down by a dirty fighter, she wakes up in a cell. She is not going to let her new circumstance keep her down. This new world is very different. Ronen has first choice of the women to find a mate. He wasn't going to but he is drawn to Jayne. They don't start on the right foot. Jayne is going to give him the runaround. Will they be able to work through their issues to find happiness together?
