Publisher Description
Easy For You To Say is "Stuttering" John Melendez's memoir of his childhood being bullied in school for his stutter; his years as an on-air personality with The Howard Stern Show; and his subsequent ten-year career as a writer and on-air announcer for Jay Leno's Tonight Show. It details his famously acerbic relationships with celebrities he interviewed/insulted (Raquel Welch once punched him in the face). In the book, Howard Stern emerges as a surprisingly mean, stingy, and megalomaniacal boss—and Jay Leno as a seeming sufferer from OCD.
Customer Reviews
Nice Read!
Good book, lots of good stories! John is very full of himself, but I guess thats what makes him who he is.
Not very well written
From a fan of the Howard Stern shows perspective, this book had some cool insider info. I think I believe about 50% of his stories. The book feels like it was written by a high-school student. All in all I skipped several chapters, including how he grew up and was abused. Nobody cares, everybody has their own bull crap. Just get to the Stern and Leno show.
Awful
What a waste of $$. Boring and most likely made up stories
