Really good
I picked this up not realizing I started in the middle of the series. But I think these books are very good. Would recommend it to other readers.
Too much gore!
The first book was good. Then it was just endless blood and gore that went on and on. Too much! I started skipping ahead to try to find something to keep me going. I'm sorry, but the second two books totally depressed me. I found myself in a gloomy mood even when I wasn't reading. It was hard to keep going back to it.
