A silly tale but very funny
Heyer characterizes the very upper crust of British nobility in the Regency period with vey finely crafted dialog and description. I laughed out loud and had to keep reading for the verbal caricature and to make sure that everyone who deserved to live happily ever after really ended up doing so.
My favorite Heyer!
Loved Cotillion. The hero is a surprise and there's so much humor. I've laughed aloud and reread many times.
Gave me a headache!
If you want to read something that sounds like it was written by some old woman two hundred years ago, then you should jump right on this. I simply do not have the patience.
