Romance and suspense collide in this intricately plotted pageturner. Seasoned crisis negotiator Dominic Sheridan plunges into the mystery with rookie agent Ava Kanas, who is mourning the loss of her mentor. As the risks rachet up around them, they are drawn together beyond the call of duty. A spinoff from author Toni Anderson’s long-running Cold Justice series, Cold & Deadly sees several figures cross over from previous books. Thanks to a combination of well-researched action and solid character development, this will be an equally satisfying read for newcomers too.

Whoa!! What a ride this book took me on. Never a dull moment for sure. Love the dynamics between Dominic and Ava. Strong characters and a fantastic storyline. This author outdid herself with this book, can’t wait to see if the next one is just as good. Excellent!!!

Excellent, thriller and I didn’t figure it out which is pretty amazing for me. Great story although sad.

Great read with a twist I didn’t see coming . I usually figure out the ending way before the end but not this time.
