Bound Together

Love this series! They never disappoint.

I've never been a big fan of biker club stories, but as usual, Christine Feehan has managed to make Torpedo Ink likable and even has me curious about the reported spinoff series featuring the men and women whose bond was forged in the bit of hell during childhood.

Of course, having read her other novels set in Sea Haven, I was curious about the oldest Prakenskii brother and Blythe. Like the others, Viktor is all man, plays to keeps, lethal and dedicated to family and ensuring others don't have to be the victims of human trafficking.

Blythe and Viktor have to overcome a five year separation neither planned or could changed. He has to adjust to a less dangerous pace, and the fact that his woman suffered because of other's interference. She has to adjust to a man used to barking orders and the 18 members of his biker "family," plus The odd kid or two they drag home for her to take in. For a woman who is very vocal in her pleasures, that leads to a few embarrassing moments.

To complicate things, the human trafficker and abuser has sent Victor and his crew to Sea Haven to take out the law, who happens to be married to a Drake sister, and Elle Drake is in Sea Haven too. she was captured and that Evan Gratsos-Shakler tried to "train" for his business, personal amusement and to take her from his brother, in a previous group.

The cop and Evan are brothers. Jackson Deveau's dad was head of the bike gang and ended up with Evan's mon. Evan made sure both died and took over his turf. Jackson took up the law. Evan wants Elle back and to personally kill Jackson. So he sends Viktor to Sea Haven to scope out a place for an attack on Jackson.

Viktor is determined to take out Evan, to stop him and his human trafficking ring and keep him from harming others. The three family groups are challenged to work toward a common goal. The question is can they? Is it enough?

Feehan makes you feel the intensity of the situation and characters in emotional, physical and emotionally challenging situations. She has the ability to make you laugh, cry, grow angry and hot all in the dame page!

I love, Love, LOVE this book! Once again my favorite author, Christine Feehan does not disappoint. This book was a great ending to the Sisters of the Heart series (although I always want more). She tied up all the threads from both Sea Haven series, and totally perked my interest in the new characters she introduced. I can't wait to read more! I loved all of her cast of complex characters, but especially Blythe and Victor. Their story is wonderful! And what amazing chemistry between them! This book is a real page turner. I could not put it down!
