Validating, rapidly page-turning
I grew up a queer kid in a non-accepting Christian household. It wasn’t Mormonism, but it was close. Sebastian’s character is one that I resonated with so much it made me cheer, cry, and gave me anxiety as I swiped through each page. I also see myself in Tanner. It’s such a validating book. The experience of reading it is one I’ll cherish

The people of the church and how we react is not the church’s doctrine ok? Y’all have your agency and while we believe in only marriage between a man and a woman we’re supposed to support you if you don’t although we’re not supposed to support ur beliefs. Should I judge all of your community because of a small group of people who know nothing about it and limited info? No? Then why are you doing it to us, huh?
