Bailey’s unusual transformation has Draven more than a little worried. He has never seen a Trigarian like her before, and he is concerned that something might be wrong with her. One of his men has suggested consulting the elders about it – perhaps they will be able to confirm whether her unusual coloring is a blessing or a curse.
Draven begins to plan the trip while trying to hide its true purpose from Bailey. He doesn’t want to frighten or worry her, especially when it may end up being nothing.
But Bailey has other plans. She doesn’t understand why Draven is in such a hurry, but she is determined to throw a wrench in his travel plans. As he goes to prepare the horses, she slips into the shower, determined to distract him and delay their departure. Her plan works, perhaps too well, as Draven is helpless to resist her slick, soft skin.
