This “How-To” guide is designed to be an easily accessible reference to get you started as an Oral & Maxillofacial SHO, and help you on a continuing basis. It should give you a good starting point to progress onwards and build your knowledge by doing further reading and filling in any gaps you encounter along the way. Doing a hospital based Oral and Maxillofacial job for the first time will be totally different from any other clinical job you have done before. It can be daunting, but it will be very fulfilling!
