Good title
I wish I had a Sam. Good book.
Pleasantly surprised
This book showed up for free, so I took advantage and downloaded it, honestly not expecting much. Let’s face it, a lot of the free books are free for a reason.
That being said, I loved this book. There’s a great deal of diversity in the cast. The characters are well written. The author manages to convey the scenes without being overly descriptive and tiresome. The story has a great twist. I didn’t see the whodunnit coming.
One of the things I like best about the book is the strong characters. I get very very very tired of the female lead being whiny, stupid, pretty, and utterly useless.
I have already bought the next two books, and I have a feeling that I will end up, quite happily, with the entire set.
I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I did.
