A Final Gift: A Tale From Blythe Cove Manor # 2 by Lorraine Bartlett
Jenny is spending the weekend at Blythe Cove Manor alone, a trip she was supposed to have taken with her mother. Sadly Jenny’s mother passed away suddenly two months earlier. When Jenny arrives she finds out this weekend is a girls only weekend at Blythe Cove Manor. Will this Jenny spend the weekend alone grieving or will she this trip help her heart start to heal.
This is a very heartwarming short story about the loss of a parent and the healing power of friendship. I really love this story, author Lorraine Bartlett paints a wonderful picture of love with her words. I love how even though these women were strangers to Jenny they came together to help cheer Jenny up and make her a little less lonely. I highly recommend this book.
