Morgyn is a free spirit and lives life to the fullest. She owns a store where all the merchandised is uniquely rejuvenated. Graham is an engineer, investor and adventurer. A chance encounter at a weekend concert, has sparkles flying between Morgyn and Graham immediately. Instead of fighting the attraction, they decide to embrace it and spend the weekend together.
Little did they know, Morgyn’s sister is marrying Graham’s friend and when they run into each other at the ceremony, they pick up where they left off the week before. Graham comes to appreciate Morgyn’s floaty personality and encourages her to embrace it. Morgyn convinces Graham that life is to short to have a plan for everything and that one should live life in the now.
This is a sweet, fun, romantic story about two people who seem to be complete opposites but balance each other out. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of reading and listening to the audiobook of Trails of Love. Virginia Rose and Aaron Shedlock do a great job narrating the story, adding extra depth and feelings to an already pleasurable read.

Morgyn “Sunshine” Montgomery and Graham”Cracker” Braden is a story of yin and yang who balance each other in the best possible ways. Morgyn is a free spirited floaty kind of girl who lives for today and is open to the universe, while Graham is an investor and engineer who plans and analyzes everything.

Morgyn owns a business where she repurposes things and breathes new life into them. When her rent is significantly raised she has decisions to make, but refuses to worry believing what is meant to be will be.

Graham is a man who never mixes business with pleasure, but soon finds himself doing just that as he looks into Morgyn’s business to see what her options are. I love that everything he suggests is always done with a careful eye not to try and change anything about her. He totally accepts Morgyn for the rare human being that she is.

That is possibly my favorite trait about Graham, and there are so many to choose from. When a person loves you for who you are and doesn’t want to change you it’s the best gift life and love can offer.

I love the way these two meet and connect. Her first impression is all wrong and hilarious. Morgyn’s spirt and heart are beautiful and free and the attraction between the two was explosive and instant.

In between business, Graham travels the world investing in projects to help people in need, and wants nothing more than to take Morgyn with him, but will she go? Can she leave Oak Falls behind for weeks at a time? What about her business? There are so many decisions for these two to make, but the way they always consider the other is a window into their love.

The story revolves around the safety and security of small town living and being open to experience new things on a larger stage. When Morgyn ventures away from Oak Falls with Graham it is a huge eye opener for her. She’s never experienced homelessness on such a grand scale and it immediately touches her heart and changes who she is in the best possible ways.

There are friends, both families and sweet memories of Morgyn’s grandfather and a certain red caboose. There’s a MIT baseball cap, a handmade bracelet and the meaning of different colored auras that add so much to the story.

Is it possible for two people who seem to be opposites to make a go of it? Well, maybe they’re not so opposite after all and all they needed was each other to balance. This book is deceptive at first, but holds a much deeper, more thoughtful and sensual tale. You can never go wrong with a Melissa Foster story and this one can teach how to love with all your heart. Love changes us and it’s so worth it!

Morgyn Montgomery and Graham Braden meet at a festival unaware that their families and friends know each other and possibly were planning to set them up :) On the outside they seem so much like opposites but together they compliment and completely support each other.
I loved that this story was relatively low on angst and drama. It is a really good small town, big family romance.
I listened to the story on audiobook and loved the dual narration by two awesome narrators. Definitely worth grabbing this one for a listen.
