Too good to be true?
57 hr recording? For only 2 bucks? Either audible made a terrible mistake, or this is too good to be true.
Consider abridged
I don't ever like to listen to abridged versions of books. However, I think this might be a good option for this book. There are alot of characters and there are some sections that are drawn out too long. Apparently he wrote this book chapter by chapter and published a chapter a week into the newspaper, so that would explain some of the jumping around and lack of editing. It just seemed to me that of the 51 hours of listening time, the story could be told well in about 40 hours.
