Tao Te Ching

I just heard a fragment of it and am already deeply touched by its beauty. Although it can be argued that not everything in the original has been fully embodied in the transition, as the translator has definitely put his understanding in its place (e.g. 不善人者善人之资 may not necessarily mean “bad people are good people’s job”), its wisdom nevertheless remains, in a different manner, like a rose having a different name....

Unfortunately, after I paid the price, downloaded and listened to it, I noticed two flaws. One is about the translation itself that is not always faithful. Chapter 50 is a total twist of the original, as Laotzu is explaining why great masters can always survive but the translator interpreted it as a serene attitude towards death. What a laugh ! Besides, quite a few chapters are not completely translated. The other is about the recording. I don’t understand why in recording chapters have to overlap and need to expand to the next recording. Can you guys just put a COMPLETE chapter on one recording? This makes my listening experience a frustration whenever I try to play back a chapter from the end (no such thing, for though the progress bar is there, it is actually for the new chapter!)
