Taken by Love: Love in Bloom: The Bradens (Unabridged‪)‬

Taken By Love is a beautiful story of Daisy Honey and Luke Braden set in the fictional small town of Trusty, Colorado. Luke is our handsomely rugged cowboy hero who breeds Gypsy horses. Daisy Honey recently came home after completing medical school to help her dad since he injured his back. With Luke’s help Daisy learns to see her hometown with new eyes. Slowly Daisy learns to forgive the mean girls from high school. I absolutely love how Melissa tackles tough issues in her romances. With perseverance and love from Luke will Daisy decide to stay in her hometown? I read this story a few years ago and now I have listened to the audio. BJ Harrison does the narration and brings Daisy and Luke to life. BJ does an excellent job as narrator. If you love big families that always support each other then you will love Taken By Love written by Melissa Foster.

Great story and I really fell in love with Daisy Honey and Luke Braden. I loved their initial meeting at the cafe where Luke saved her cake and she doctored up his wound he used duct tape of all things to cover. Daisy has come back to help out at her family farm while making a huge career decision and has rekindled her friendship with Luke with a possibility of maybe some romance. They’ve both been misunderstood in the past and have dealt with false accusations and past misconceptions. It was nice to see him bring her out of her shell when the last thing she wants to do is be back in the town where she escaped from once graduating high school. I liked the progression of the story and how those who were mean to her in the past came full circle and gave her the appreciation and respect she more than deserved. This was a great book and a great couple and a perfect ending with everything as it should be including a call out from Dr. Waxman. I listened to this audiobook narrated by BJ Harrison. He always does a great job and I’m used to his narration of Margie at the diner and I thought his narration from beginning to end wrapped you up in the story.

I just love meeting the members of the Braden family and now getting to meet the branch that lives in Trusty is just a treat! This one features the first of the brothers, Luke. A man not ever looking to settle down has begun to grow his roots in his ranch. Enjoying his horses and his life, he is feeling the need to find someone to share it with. Daisy has returned to Trusty after her father's accident. After a terrible senior year in high school, she left, got her medical degree and was not looking back. But family is strong, and she has come temporarily to help out. When these two meet again, after the years that have passed, the pull is there and impossible to deny. With Daisy's days numbered though, is it even worth letting them into each others' lives? Is their love strong enough? I loved these two! Each has something to overcome and trust is a big issue! Plus, I love how Melissa Foster works in relevant issues giving us awareness of medical needs of the small town, domestic abuse and how important family is. It's a wonderful listen, with some steamy passion and a journey well worth taking!

BJ Harrison continues his narration of the Bradens, and for me he is the voice of this family. Each time, I fall into the listen and know I am in for a fantastic telling of the story. Each voice perfect for the character and all the emotion needed to make it realistic. Love his narrations.
