Publisher Description

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Girl, Wash Your Face comes the story of a small-town girl finding her way in Hollywood one misstep at a time—now paired with the novella Party Girl’s First Date.

Landon Brinkley’s dreams are all coming true. She’s landed an internship with a fabulous event planner for the Hollywood elite, taking her from small-town Texas to the bright lights of LA. Landon finds herself in a world in which spending a million dollars on an event—even a child’s birthday party—is de rigueur, and the whims of celebrity clients are life-and-death matters. At first, the thrill of working on A-list parties and celebrity weddings is enough to survive the seventy-five-hour workweeks and her mercurial boss. But when the reality of the business reveals itself, she’s forced to make a choice: do whatever it takes to get ahead, or stay true to herself.

Drawing on the author's real-life experiences as an event planner to the stars, Party Girl takes readers on an adventure among Hollywood’s most beautiful—and most outrageous—people, revealing the ugly side of Hollywood's prettiest parties.

Because of this book

My dentist actually recommended “Girl, Wash your face” & “Girl, stop apologizing” and she became my favorite author since Alice Seabold.
I lost my job 4 months ago, and I did not read often. No time as a young mom, widow at 27, and a single mother of an almost preteen little girl I didn’t think I had time. However I’m tired of letting life live me instead of me living my blessed best life.
This series gave me a look into a world I could never be apart of. She has a soft voice, and she has a relatable cute quirkyness I see in myself so I love her! Every book she’s written has played a role in my life for the past 3 months.

Really good, but….

The story is fabulous and living in TX the narration was fantastic. However for whatever reason the narrator changes once you get to the “first date” at the end of the story and the narrating is so bad I couldn’t get through that part of the story, such a shame, better to read that part I guess.

So real, relatable, and romantic

Could not put it down. Landon is real and I want to be her BFF. She is strong and a role model who shows integrity strength and grace.
