A true essential grab for fans of pro wrestling that love stories
As long as I’ve been a podcaster and interviewed many guests, none have been as charismatic and energetic as Sean Oliver. The man is a true professional that is smart, witty, and self determined. Sean to me has always came off as the all around great interviewer of excellence every aspiring podcaster, radio host should strive to be. You learn a few tricks of the trade from this book as well as now Sean was able to take the most simplistic idea in approaching shoot interviews and making his own mark. The mark is so huge that without a shadow of doubt he’s left a great impression on the sport of pro wrestling. Full of laughs, great stories of dealing with certain talents that came through his company, Kayfabe Commentaries. You also learn the importance of dreaming big and following those ambitions if you want to be successful. It’s okay if you’re not familiar with Sean and his work but trust me by the time you read / hear this you’ll want to grab any and everything from his company, Youshoot, Timeline, Breaking Kayfabe and more!
Not good.
I get it, you’re trying to be Ray Liotta from “Goodfellas” talking about a sleazy business you made up, but the gig recounts for sideshow attractions are too repetitive. It’s just bad, that’s all.
Fantastic - a must for any wrestling fan
I became a fan of Kayfabe Commentaries years ago due to their creative, fresh approach to the shoot interview. This book is an interesting view of Sean Oliver's experiences with some of the biggest wrestling talent around
