Enjoyable
Better than the movie, and the movie was pretty good!
There are some differences from the movie that made the ending unexpected and far more interesting.
Loved it!
This book is definitely worth getting, even if you've seen the movie. There are some twists and turns that just can't be duplicated in film. Also, Michael Boatman as the narrator was excellent. He is fastly becoming one of my favorites. He and Mosley have prompted me to complete the Easy Rawlins series!
Devil in a Blue Dress
A great book turned into a great movie. I saw the movie first, then read the book. Then I read 3 more in the series and read this book again. I wish they had made Black Betty into a movie before all the actors became famous.
A also liked the way the story follows black migration from the south after WWII.
