About Zach Seabaugh

Zach Seabaugh is an American country singer who found a national audience when he reached the semifinals of the ninth season of The Voice. A native of Marietta, Georgia, he grew up a country music fan, took up the guitar at age five, and later participated in chorus and musical theater at school. Sporting a somewhat refined vocal quality suited for theater, as well as a deep, resonant country drawl, he was just 16 years old when he got through his blind audition on The Voice and joined coach Blake Shelton's team. During his run, Seabaugh hit the Top Five of the Billboard Country Digital Songs chart with his version of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb." The season aired in the fall of 2015, and Seabaugh followed up his semifinalist finish with an eponymous EP released in 2016 via Open Roads Highway. Led by the upbeat single "Nothing Good Happens After Midnight," it landed on the Top Country Albums chart. ~ Marcy Donelson
