In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 5 years old we were at a hotel on vacation. In the lobby was a jazz pianist playing standards and I remember being so inspired I asked my dad if I could go as the man for his autograph. I know something about that experience changed me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alex Somers, Jónsi, Riceboy Sleeps Coldplay, Ghost Stories This Will Destroy You, This Will Destroy You Each of these records live in my top 5 at any point mostly because of the places they chose to explore sonically. Im usually drawn to the sound of an album even before the lyrics hit me. Each of these 3 records have inspired so many great records. Tell us why you chose this song. “Space for Us” Space for Us is a piece of music I wrote while I was in a transition creatively. So much about my work flow and my life creatively was changing. Space for Us is a love letter to putting yourself into the tide and washing away into a new season. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been very blessed to not just work with, but to become friends with so many brilliant producers and writers. See a look behind the curtain of people I love and trust and been a huge inspiration to me and I don't take that opportunity for granted Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to always push the envelope in terms of collaboration. Getting the opportunity to work with people who inspire me always pushes me to new heights creatively and I hope to continue with more of those opportunities.
