About Tucker Beathard

Though he’s continuing in a family tradition, Tucker Beathard has established his own place in the country-music continuum. His dad is Casey Beathard, writer of hits for Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, and many others, and Tucker (born in 1995 in Nashville) started performing live with him while just a teenager. He was still only 20 when he released his first EP, and in 2016 his debut single, “Rock On,” earned him a Top 10 country hit. His first album, Nobody’s Everything, arrived two years later, giving the world its first comprehensive exposure to his sound—rock ’n’ roll and dirty guitars mixed with country-pop hooks and power ballads. Beathard’s gritty, twang-soaked vocals proved to be a natural fit for stomp-along rockers like “Somethin’ to Say” and “Ride On” as well as songs on the balladic side, such as “Leave Me Alone” and “This Life.” In 2020 Beathard returned with KING, the sophomore album that he envisioned as a thematic sequel to its predecessor. The record’s first two singles showed that Beathard had further refined both sides of his sound, with raw, rocking riffs fueling “Better Than Me” and passion pouring out all over the slow-burning, panoramic “You Would Think.”
