Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Simon & Garfunkel, Sounds of Silence k.d. lang, Hymns of the 49th Parallel Hard to pick, but I learned to play guitar and sing harmony to Simon & Garfunkel Sounds of Silence. K.D. Lang is one of the greatest singers ever and covers some of the best songs ever written. Dylan is a poetic legend and a songwriter's songwriter. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cold Tennessee Rain” I wrote this one on the way to Nashville, TN with my duo partner Pamela Dale to compete on the Nashville Network's You Can Be a Star show. It was the best time and the song always gets a great response. Pam passed away recently, so it's bittersweet.
