In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember loving music and singing ever since I was 6. I used to sing in front of the TV and sneaking in my parents bedroom just to feel the strings of my mum's old guitar, which is the same guitar I ended up picking up to learn how to play. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adele, 21 Beyoncé, I AM...SASHA FIERCE Kelly Clarkson, Breakaway I grew up listening to Radio Top 40 so I actually became obsessed with singles and not albums so much. But these three albums not only showcase great productions and songwriting but also showcase the artist's incredible vocal abilities. Tell us why you chose this song. “Proud” I moved from a small town in the Basque Country of Spain to the US 13 years ago with lots of hopes and dreams. This song talks about the hardest part of it all, being away from family and the struggles and expectations of being in the music industry. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've always enjoyed being an artist but I also love being a songwriter. I'll never forget my first number one as a songwriter in Spain with "El No Soy Yo" by Blas Canto or my first Billboard number one with "SloMo" by Chanel. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to play at MSG one day. I would also love to release an album of collaborations where I collaborate with my favorite artists of all time. Oh, and write a song with Ryan Tedder and Max Martin, that I later get to sing with Adele. Too much?
