Finnish producer Kupla’s lo-fi beats create an atmospheric musical experience. • The Helsinki native grew up playing piano and studying classical music and jazz. • His “Kupla” persona was born in 2012, when he began uploading music on SoundCloud. • The producer attended the London College of Communication in 2013 and continued to live in the city until 2020. • He released his debut EP, Subarctic, in 2014. • In 2019, he released his debut album, Imaginary, via ChilledCow Records. • Kupla is part of the Cookie Dough Records collective and the Dream Easy Collective, a network of roughly 30 producers.
