In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same Kanye West, Yeezus PARTYNEXTDOOR, PARTYNEXTDOOR When PartyNextDoor emerged onto the scene it was like nothing I ever heard before. These three albums really shaped my artistry early on. To this day when I'm having writers block, I go to these albums and Dangerous by Michael Jackson. Tell us why you chose this song. “21 Bottles” This one goes under the radar a lot, since usually people listen to Dear, You & Allyouneed more. I wrote it in September of 2017 and after so many mixes, we got it right at maybe the 45th version. 21 Bottles is memorable and whole. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Landing a spot on OVO Sound Radio Playlist (Episode 62). I couldn't believe it when it happened. Drake is my all time favorite artist, so being on his radio playlist was out of this world. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've always wanted to perform at Toyota Center in front of a sold out crowd for my own tour. I've had this goal since I was seven, and I don't want to let that younger me down.
